In the Lower Gallery, Grip and Release: Hold Us Close Like a Child  Emma Chalmers consists of a large round bottom flask attached to a pulley system in the roof.

In the Lower Gallery Monique Jansen and Frances Hansen present Alongside Project.

Barbara Smith and Becky Richards are both installation artists, though that is perhaps where the obvious similarities end. The pair will install their work together, but separately in the Upper and Darkside Galleries.

Scott Flanagan presents 867 Hours Underground in the Upper Gallery and Darkside Gallery - exhibiting outcomes from his Summer Residency at the Blue Oyster.

Sonja van Kerkhoff presents offsite project Caravan from Istanbul, Dunedin. A line of elephants from the Octagon to the Blue Oyster.

Nicola Hansby's Lower Gallery exhibition, A Collection of Still Life, is a series of paintings that plays with issues around recognition and the repetition of form. Hansby's paintings feature figurines and ornaments, carefully arranged so that they appear both abstract and familiar.
