Christchurch based artists Hannah and Aaron Beehre's BLOY05.03 stands for: Blue Oyster May 2003. As an architectural intervention, BLOY05.03 consists of a large pillared structure in the centre of the Blue Oyster's unusually expansive space. Lined with bold stripes of colour, the pillar represents both the painterly and designed notions within contemporary art.
