Morely is a Dunedin based contemporary mixed media artist, who pushes the boundaries of how painting is constructed and viewed. Morely often uses parody to reference New Zealand artists to develop a new insight to how audiences view contemporary art. Morely has received international status for his experimental musical scores and applies this skill to his exhibitions, using medium of sound installation to offer a further dimension to his work, he twists concepts and pushes the work back onto the viewer.
