Future Proof – Boganne Steve Carr

In 1999 Blue Oyster collaborated with High Street Project on a series of exhibitions titled Future Proof. Eight artists were shown in a touring exhibition between the two galleries, lasting until November. Steve Carr presents in his exhibition Boganne a series of painted self-titled record covers inspired by "Bogan" aesthetics and heavy rock album art and exploring the uneasy alliance between 'trash' culture and personal historicism.
