The Adventures of DJ Clock Steve Carr featuring Jim Speers

A collaborative exhibition titled The Adventures of DJ Clock by Steve Carr and Jim Speers, followed by a DJ night at Arc Cafe. Steve Carr in his work explores ideas of self promotion, marketing, media, fake persona, mythology and culture. His research for the concepts are often based around the theoretical principles of Jean Baudrillard's theory of simulacra and the hyper real. The persona of STEVE CARR has been forever changing, from Elvis impersonator to celebrity lounge singer. With each direction a series of sculptures, installations and performances accompanies the persona.
