Amsterdam based artist Willum Geerts presents Painter's Block. "You can divide my work into paintings/video/audio/performance. Inspired by the excessive consumer society in which we all play our role - wanted and unwanted. Fascinated by appearance, the media, manipulation, superficiality, cliches, overkill, hypes and the effect of those things on the individual and his behaviour. How we deal, aware/unaware, with the constant stream of influences from the outside? We just suffer, make the best out of it but also kinda like it."
